BISON
A staple provision in all kitchens, our 100% grass fed, regenerative bison is the most versatile product we make. As a keystone species across North America, these bison have spent their lives grazing on regenerating grasslands and restoring proper ecosystem function.

The short answer: This product made it to our curated list because it has achieved certification through well-established and respected organizations with its ingredients sourced from regenerative agriculture. FYI: We are currently establishing a way to list non-certified products with transparency about the farm's regenerative practices.

Force of Nature is on a mission to improve our environment and health through regenerative agriculture while answering the community's call for food raised in a way that truly aligns with their values.
The term “regenerative” means that the agricultural systems in which this food was raised honor the systems within Mother Nature. We care for the soil, respect the diversity of plants and animals on the land, and focus on natural outcomes versus synthetic inputs. That means no tilling, no synthetic chemicals, no hormones or antibiotics, and beautiful, wide-open spaces. The result is what you expect.
Every ranch we work with undergoes a rigorous vetting and onboarding process. Before we work with them they sign the Land Steward Index, a mutual pledge committing to honoring regenerative principles of land and animal management and year-over-year improvement.
Most ranches we work with carry one of the existing regenerative certifications, including Regenerative Organic Certified, Ecological Outcome Verified, and Regenified.
In the simplest terms, we are tracking soil health improvements such as terrestrial life, pollinator populations, and biodiversity markers. We look for operations following the six principles of soil health:

We have over decade-long relationships with many of our suppliers. That’s because these individuals are true stewards of the land and have committed their lives to improving the system. All of our suppliers are doing the work that is making a massive impact on the future of our food system, our health, and our environment.
We want to make sure that all products listed here align with our community's values. We do our best, but need help from you if you feel that there is something that we should be aware of about their regen ag practices, sources, supply chains, etc.
