Almond Butter is an excellent way to add extra vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber into your diet. Almond butter is also high in monounsaturated fats. Monounsaturated fats help to lower LDL (“bad”) cholesterol and raise HDL (“good”) cholesterol. Many other nutrients in almond butter also help improve your heart health and lower your risk for heart disease. Almonds are a great source of Vitamin E and source of plant-based protein. It’s a calorie-dense food – just like the raw almonds it is made from!
